Planet Friendly People
We’re an ordinary family, worrying about how things will turn out for our children and future generations. We are trying to do our bit to be kinder to the planet and every living thing on it.
Hello and Welcome!
Welcome to Planet Friendly People – a site created by an ordinary family, for anyone and everyone who looks at the world, sees it’s problems and wants to make a difference. As we mention on our Who We Are page, we’re not different or special; we’re just normal people, who like you, still sit and wonder what we can do to make things better. Although one person can’t change the world, if we all do what we can, hopefully the best we can, then together we really can move mountains!
“As individuals and collectively, by using the power of the purse/wallet, we can guide/goad even the largest of companies to do better.”Of all the things we talk about, what may surprise you most, is how big a part the food on our plates plays in shaping how the future for our children and grandchildren; in fact, food is arguably the single biggest arena for change in helping to create a safe and stable future. You can explore this topic with us here: We’ll tell you the sorts of things we do, the research we’ve done, and the mistakes we’ve made – and with luck, save you a chunk of time and trouble! We’d love you to share your ideas and practical tips too – the best ones will go on the website with your name, credited to you !
